Vision Boards: Reality or Fiction?

Do Vision Boards Work?

The short answer is YES THEY DO.

If you hold it in your head, you can hold it in your hand.

Walt Disney

A vision board is nothing but a concrete expression of a dream or goal we set to achieve. Visualizing is undoubtedly a remarkable technique to accomplish our desires. However, imagining the goal itself isn’t always effective for everyone.

First and foremost, you need to be crystal clear about what you want.
Write it down, say it out loud and if you can, turn your desire into a picture. Pictures are a powerful tool to use to attain our dreams. Combining words, pictures and lucid dreaming is the most efficient way to manifest the infinite possibilities into the material world.

In order to create your own vision board, think about the different categories of life. Here’s an example based on the Lifebook from Jon and Missi Butcher.

With so many online graphic tools to design, it’s never been this easy before. For each category choose an image that represents your goal. Remember to be crystal clear on what you wish. A new car, your dream villa, the perfect relationship, a life full of adventures, personal freedom, a certain career, vibrant health. There are no limits to our imagination, we are the ones who create the limits in the first place and as we believe certain things are unattainable, so it is.

Vision boards should be taught in school. Children are naturally creative and dreaming comes easily to them. However, as society doesn’t foster creativity and independence, all that potential power gets blocked and limited, then we grow into mediocre adults with no dreams.

Where should I have my vision board?

You can have the picture of your visions on your phone as long as you see it every day, although the best way is to have it printed nice and big, hang it on a wall where you can stop and observe it several times during the day. See yourself as you linger in those visions, doing the things you wish, obtaining what you dreamt of, and experiencing your best possible life.

If you’re a bit skeptical about the topic, the internet is full of success stories of people who manifested their dreams thanks to a vision board. A couple of examples that come to mind are:

  1. John Assaraf. You might remember his name from the documentary The secret. John ended up buying the exact same house he had on his vision board. Here’s the video in which he shares the story. John is a behavioral neuroscience researcher and coach. You find a lot of insightful content on his website.

2. Juliana and Mark Spiculuk. Founders of Boho Beautiful

Juliana and Mark created something very special and beautiful. A brand and a Youtube channel providing free Yoga for everyone, all while traveling to the most beautiful destinations in the world the non-touristic way. In one of their videos, they explained how a vision board guided them to achieve their dream life when they still were living a normal life in Canada. They certainly visualized and dreamed but also put down hard work to make those dreams come true and create a new brand, to the point they were able to leave everything behind and begin a new life, traveling the world and doing what they love. Their channel has been a major discovery for me and if you love yoga or are curious to try their channel is brilliant for beginners and experienced alike. They also host podcasts and interesting videos about lifestyle, nutrition and personal development. Additionally, they’re really active in making positive environmental changes. So if you resonate with their mission, feel free to support them even just by following their channel or website.

It’s important to mention that a vision board alone, might not be as effective. It is a magical tool, yet it needs to be paired holistically with mindset work, taking actions, striving to improve every day, learning and anything else that pushes you in the direction of self-realization.

In conclusion, vision boards are an unmissable tool on your journey to self-mastery and goal-setting. They keep you on track and the feeling of satisfaction you’ll experience as you tick off your dreams list is one of a kind. Creating a vision board is simple and cheap, yet it’ll deliver results you never imagined possible. How will your vision board look? What images will you choose? Will you start today? You have nothing to lose, so go ahead and be the master of your own life.

I’m dedicated to sharing and spreading valuable information that can make a real difference to people and our planet. If you wish to support my mission please subscribe to my blog and share this post. It would mean the whole world to me. Thank you and may you live with wisdom, purpose and meaning.

Longevity Focus: This Japanese Woman Proved That Age Is Just A Number

Japan is considered a “Blue Zone” because it is one of the regions in the world with the highest concentration of people who live to be over 100 years old. The term “Blue Zone” was coined by National Geographic researcher and author, Dan Buettner, who identified regions around the world where people live the longest and healthiest lives.

There are several factors that contribute to Japan’s status as a Blue Zone. One of the key factors is the Japanese diet, which is high in plant-based foods, fish, and soy products. The traditional Japanese diet is low in processed foods and saturated fats and is associated with lower rates of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Another factor that contributes to Japan’s Blue Zone status is the emphasis on community and social connections. Japanese culture places a strong emphasis on family, and many older people live with or near their children and grandchildren. This social support is believed to contribute to better mental and physical health, as well as a sense of purpose and meaning in life.

Additionally, Japan has a strong tradition of physical activity, with many people practicing martial arts, walking, or participating in other forms of exercise throughout their lives. This active lifestyle is believed to contribute to better health and longevity.

While age can certainly impact our physical health and cognitive abilities, it does not necessarily limit our potential. Many people have achieved great things later in life, whether it’s starting a new career, learning a new skill, or making a significant contribution to society. In fact, Takishima started training quite later in life, nonetheless, she has achieved remarkable results.

Furthermore, the concept of “successful aging” suggests that it’s not just about living longer, but living well. This involves maintaining physical and mental health, staying socially connected, and continuing to learn and grow throughout our lives. By adopting a positive attitude towards aging and focusing on what we can do rather than what we can’t, we can continue to lead fulfilling lives regardless of our age.

It is never too late to start something new, especially if that leads to self-betterment, longevity and joy. There are plenty of stories like this one, proving that our well-being is in our hands and we determine our health, especially later in life, with each action we take during our lifetime. Aging is not a disease, although in recent times it’s been treated like that.
So why not be inspired by the countless stories of older generations being healthy, fit and vital even past 80?

In conclusion, age should not be seen as a limitation, but rather as an opportunity to continue to learn, grow, and achieve great things. With a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace change, we can all continue to thrive and make meaningful contributions to society, regardless of our age.

What actions will you take today that will make you better, healthier and stronger?
Perhaps you could write that down and answer the questions for self-reflection.

This is a brilliant story of how some people in the world are fighting to preserve what every human being deserves: a clean and healthy planet in which we can all thrive.
It shows that anyone can be the change, indeed every single individual has the power to trigger positive changes.

Homeless to Millionaire | The Big Leap of Garrain Jones

Change your mindset, change your life

Garrain Jones

This brilliant video presents us one more time with the concept of how we are fully accountable for our lives. This is the inspiring story of how a man shifted from poverty to wealth just with the power of his mind and manifestation.

If you have read many books and stories of successful people, you’ll notice that they all have something in common. These people understood the importance of prioritizing their health, wellness, and spirituality. They knew the importance of fun and play not just hard work eg. see Richard Branson for instance. I was charmed when in an interview he shared that the most important part of his day is finding time for himself and playtime.

“Fun is one of the most important — and underrated — ingredients in any successful venture, If you’re not having fun, then it’s probably time to call it quits and try something else.”

Branson writes in “The Virgin Way: Everything I Know About Leadership”.

A strong personal routine that you repeat every day with persistence, means you train yourself to be who you want to be, and while you enjoy the present moment, you’re pulled forward by the vision you are going to attain.

When you look at the vast majority of people, most don’t dedicate enough time to self-betterment. People rush into phones, and technology, feed on negative news, are surrounded by stressful environments and people, they don’t commit to personal time, and then wonder why they’re so close to mental collapse.

A key concept in this video is also the importance of surrendering and forgiveness. Sometimes we might think we do everything right, that we lead a healthy lifestyle and take sufficient personal time, nevertheless, there’s something that’s left behind: release trauma, negativity and forgive those who have wronged us, and especially forgive ourselves for hurting others and/or ourselves.

Letting go and surrender are two major parts of each healing and successful story. We need to let go of what has hurt us before it will kill us. Garrain has written a list of people to forgive and finally has forgiven the man who murdered his father. Removing negative emotions like hate and anger is paramount to welcoming new, positive energy health, and wealth. Now, this is not certainly the easiest part, but it can be done.

Let’s have a look at the routine mentioned by Garrain. He calls his first hour of the day The Power Hour. It consists of several practices such as meditation, reflection, repeating affirmations, mirror work, journaling, and physical training. He repeats the same routine every single day. By doing so, he consciously chooses the direction to give to his day and ultimately his life.

You need to unlearn what you learned if it’s not serving you.

Garrain Jones

Another key point that emerges from the video is that when we seek validations from others we give our power away, so nobody else can empower us better than ourselves. As a consequence learning to love and accept yourself, is an essential part of writing your own future.

The moment Garrain surrendered and started doing everything the opposite he would have done before, things shifted and he was able to manifest what he desired. The takeaway is to have clear in mind what you want, release negative emotions, honor the inner child by giving them the fun and joy they deserve, and allow the universe to work in your favor. Every person’s path is different but we all have the power to manifest. It’s our birthright and you can start by claiming your power back.

Affirm out loud: I claim my divine power and I now choose to be the master of my time on earth. I’m determined to do whatever it takes to be the best I can be, to create paradise on earth, and to live in harmony with the universe. Affirm it, write it, read it, pray, and believe.

Now Garrain shares his knowledge and what has learned with others, he brings value to the world by doing something he’s good at and passionate about it. To me, this is the purpose of life. We only have a limited time on earth and we are meant to live our soul mission by doing something we adore and making difference to others.

Have you ever asked yourself what’s your mission on earth? What are your true passions? If you haven’t I’d invite you to get a journal, begin with some deep breaths, ease into relaxation, and then jot these questions down in writing, you’ll be amazed how the answers will become available to you. Make it a daily habit.

We have the power to be extraordinary if only we opened our hearts and minds to the infinite universal energy that has created us.

Do it Yourself | Plant-Based Milk that Cuts Back Waste

With the right knowledge and ingredients, you can make pretty much everything yourself.
If like me, you ditched cow’s milk, chances are you rely on brands like Alpro or Oatley to get your vegetable milk. I was one of those but sadly I learned that the oils contained in this type of milk and other additives can wreak havoc on our health.

What’s the best solution then?

You can make your own plant-based milk! And the good news is it can be just as delicious as shelf milk or even better. Firstly because you made it, so you put all your love into it, secondly it’s CLEAN, it doesn’t contain any unpronounceable additives or processed oils like canola oil, lastly you can make it fresh every single time you need it with no need of making the trip to the market and last but not least it’s totally zero-waste. Yes, you are contributing to cutting down the waste that goes to landfill, how wonderful is that?

Every year tonnes of waste are dumped into landfills making the environmental issue more and more severe. So why not make some small adjustments that will be good for you and good for the planet?

PREPARATION

I like to prepare enough milk for 2 days max, so I always have it fresh. Either boil a handful of cashew for 15 minutes or let it soak overnight. Blend with about 3 cups of water. No need to be strict with quantities. Play around with the amount of cashew and water to get your favorite texture. Then add a pinch of salt and vanilla if desired. Blend until smooth and drain with a cheesecloth or tight strainer. Your milk is ready to be enjoyed. Put the rest in a glass bottle or jar in the fridge. I also use this milk with a milk frother and it gets just as foamy as regular milk. So ideal for cappuccinos lovers.

Cashew is my favorite for milk, nonetheless, you can do exactly the same with almonds, Brazilian nuts, hazelnuts, or even a mixture of these.

If you are curious about zero waste, here’s a TedTalks video that has inspired me to cut back on waste and be healthier.

There’s so much we can achieve, if only we reach out to the vast volume of information out there.

Vegan Butternut Squash & Peas Spiced Curry

Sometimes the best culinary creations begin with inventing a recipe out of the only few ingredients you have left in the fridge.

I’m particularly proud of this dish because when I tasted it, I was literally shocked at how good it was. Curries are lovely in the winter: heartwarming and tasty, making it the perfect dish to keep healthy throughout the winter.

Preparation

Get a mid-size pot and drizzle a little bit of olive oil. Mine is enriched with herbs and garlic so its flavor is even more enhanced. Don’t overheat it too much. When it’s warm enough add the scallion you had previously chopped, wait a few minutes, and then add the chopped leek. Give it a stir, then add the petit pois and diced butternut squash. Add a couple of bay leaves.

While this cook on medium heat for about 15/20 minutes, mix these ingredients in a blender: 1 cup of nut milk (I make my own, you can see how by clicking here), 2 garlic cloves, a piece of ginger, cilantro, and all the herbs and spices mentioned before. Once it’s all mixed up, add the mixture to the cooking veggies and give it a good stir. Finally, add salt to taste. Separate the mixture into two parts, leave one part in the pot, and blend the other part until soft and creamy. Once done add it back to the pot and stir. This way you’ll have a balanced curry, creamy but also rich in whole vegetables.

Note that I’ve added the mixture with garlic, herbs, and spices only towards the end and at a low temperature to avoid losing the great benefits of the medicinal foods contained in this recipe. If you add garlic straight from the beginning, unfortunately, the powerful compounds will lose efficacy and we want to reap the most benefits out of our foods, don’t we?

While the curry cooks, prepare the rice. For mine, I used white basmati but I normally prefer brown basmati rice. Even if cooking rice is simple, there are a few tricks to make it even better. Here’s how. Heat salted water with a tbsp of olive oil. The amount of water has to be just enough to barely cover the rice. Make sure you wash it thoroughly. Once the water is boiling add the rice and let it cook. I also add some cumin seeds or other spices to the water to make the rice flavorsome. Once the water dries, the rice should be cooked and crisp enough meaning each grain should be nicely separated and not all glued up like when you cook it in too much water. I love to cook rice this way, besides if you wait a couple of minutes more, the rice at the bottom will be toasted, becoming incredibly crunchy. Once you remove the majority of the rice, then you can scratch the toasted rice from the bottom of the pot and put it on top of your dish.

To finish off, I’ve added avocado slices with a drizzle of lemon and chives on top of the rice.

What I love the most about this dish, is that it was ready in under 30 minutes from the moment you chop the veggies to the table, which in my opinion is fabulous! Especially for those days in which you want to eat well but don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen. What’s more, you can cook bigger amounts and save it in the refrigerator, it will still taste superb the next day.

As you can see eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring!

Giant Nutrients-dense Salad that Actually Tastes Great

What do you picture when thinking about salads? Boring leaves that are difficult to chew, bitter, or flavorless? Salads often make people feel that way and the reason why so many of us don’t incorporate enough greens into our diet. I was one of those! I’d try salads just because I knew it was healthy and gave up after a bit of chewing.

However, as I advanced my research on nutrition, I realized that not eating salads meant missing out on loads of important nutrients. I learned how the fiber contained in raw vegetables and dark leafy greens was the favorite food of our microbiome and it was imperative to get it in. So I experimented with this mouthwatering recipe that you too are going to love.

It’s fast, nutritious and delicious win-win-win.

The combination of boiled and raw vegetables, along with the variety of herbs and spices in the vinaigrette, ensures that this salad is packed with a range of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Adding nuts, seeds, and some pieces of fruit also adds a nice crunch and sweetness to the salad. You could even top up your salad with sauerkraut, kimchi or broccoli sprouts.

Some vegetables need to be boiled. Start with the ones that require more time cooking such as sweet potatoes, then add green beans, carrots and cabbage, so that they don’t get excessively overcooked and lose their wonderful properties. I like to keep carrots crispy but not entirely raw.

Adding a variety of vegetables with different textures and flavors, such as bell peppers, onions radishes, and avocadoes can make your salad more interesting and enjoyable to eat. Nuts and seeds are also a great addition, as they provide healthy fats, protein, and crunch.

Raw ingredients to make your salad base.

Get a big bowl and throw in any leafy greens you like: romaine, rocket, collards green, dandelion greens, kale, spinach, cavolo nero or any dark leaves it doesn’t matter. Make sure all leaves have been washed thoroughly, ideally in baking soda. I like to cut the leaves in little parts so they’re easier to chew and I don’t feel like a sheep while chewing. 😂

For the vinaigrette

Blend some olive oil, one big tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and 2 garlic cloves, then add all the herbs and spices you like. My favorites are oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage, bay leaf, black pepper, turmeric, cumin seeds, paprika, ginger and cayenne pepper. You can also add fresh parsley and coriander or chives. It will all contribute to a full-flavor bomb. As an option, you can hard boil a couple of eggs if you wish. Or just keep it fully vegan.

Once the vinaigrette is ready pour it into the bowl and toss all the ingredients together, serve and be ready to be delighted.

I promise you this will be the best salad you’ve ever eaten and you might as well make it a staple in your daily nutrition adding a huge variety of compounds with medicinal properties.

As usual, you don’t have to be strict with the ingredients so you can replace any ingredients you don’t like with others you prefer or simply experiment every time new variations and combinations. Eat the rainbow! All vegetables and colors welcomed.

Why should I eat a salad every day?

Salads can be a delicious and nutritious way to incorporate a wide variety of vegetables and fruits into your diet. Eating wholefood, organic, and predominantly plant-based diet has been linked to a wide range of health benefits, including reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

By choosing a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables to include in your salads, you can ensure that you are getting a diverse range of nutrients and plant compounds. In addition to the vitamins, minerals, and fiber that fruits and vegetables provide, they are also packed with beneficial plant compounds that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. These compounds can help protect your cells from damage caused by free radicals, which are molecules that can contribute to the development of chronic diseases.

Most of the ingredients in this salad especially herbs, spices and garlic have anti-viral, anti-bacterial antifungal and anti-cancer properties! A diet rich in fruits and vegetables also increases water intake and as a result, you’ll get more frequent bowel movements. So if you’re constipated this might really help. You want your food to move quickly through your digestive system to avoid toxins reabsorption.

So if you’re looking to improve your health and feel your best, incorporating more great-tasting salads into your diet is a great place to start!

Below you can find a list of the most potent, healthies vegetables you can include in your salad. Extracted from the summit “Conquering Cancer” by Professor Dr. Dana Flavin MD.

Healing Story | Cold Exposure Gave This Man a Second Chance

This is story is one of the most inspirational healing testimony worth to be heard and spread. Doug Steiny went from being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (Guillain-Barre) that would have led him from palsy to being inflammation free, stronger and more flexible then ever before and 100% symptoms free.

How did he get there?

The answer is: The Wim Hof Method. The three pillars of this method are: breathing, mindset and gradual cold exposure. Wim Hof, also known as the Iceman, has gained popularity thanks to his 26 Guinness world records in relation to cold exposure. Among his major achievements, climbing mount Everest in shorts, swimming 60 meters under the ice, spending nearly 2 hours in ice without his temperature dropping down. Last but not least, he and a group he had trained, have been injected an endotoxin and through breathing and meditation, none of them developed the symptoms whereas the untrained group all showed symptoms. This study had been scientifically documented and you can find out more by clicking here.

What Wim does is proving to the world that there’s something innate in each human being that may allow us to regulate our own health. He also explains the lost connection with nature and how returning back to it, implementing the power of breathing and controlling your mind, will ultimately lead to be fully in charge of your physical and mental health.

He’s proved what the science affirmed was impossible. Could Wim represent that change in our way of living we were all waiting for?

You can find countless successful healing stories on the Internet, either following the Wim Hof method or just other holistic approaches. What it means to me, is that we should never give up in front of a diagnosis as there are infinite resources out there that perhaps have just been hidden from us.

I’ve always believed the power that has created us has gifted us with our own healing system and we should listen our inner voice when it comes to looking after ourselves. We’re simply so used to do what doctors tell us we should do and blocked communication with our bodies. A symptom is nothing else but the way of our bodies signalling that something we’re doing is wrong and we need to address it.

I believe in the importance of curing the root cause rather than silencing symptoms by relying on pharmaceuticals. With that said, meds have their place in some cases and they have indisputably saved lives, however nature has equipped us with all we need to heal naturally and holistically.

According to Louise hay “Good health is having no fatigue, having a good appetite, going to sleep and awakening easily, having a good memory, having good humour, having precision in thought and action and being honest, humble, grateful, and loving. How healthy are you?”

10 Morning Rituals to foster Success

We have heard several times how morning routines are a vital part to set your day for success.

The problem with that is, that many people affirm they don’t have the time to implement it. Now whereas it might be easier if you don’t have any children and work from home, it might seems absolutely impossible for families with little ones to dress, feed, bring to school and get to work.

Saying we don’t have the time to do things that will improve our life, is like saying we don’t have time to stop at the gas station, at some point our car will stop and we’ll be forced to make our way to fill up. See the analogy? Why wait until our bodies force us to stop before we can take the time we need to thrive? For some people a morning routing may be as little as 5 to 10 minutes, yet it has a powerful impact on the rest of their day. If you are able to manage your time better though, by waking up earlier for instance, you’ll discover the morning miracle where all the potential and opportunities lays.

Time ago, I was myself stuck in the circle of waking up just in time to make my way to work and this way I’d waste that huge possibility to enhance my life. Many things have changed now, but one thing I realized is the importance of a strong morning routine. In my ideal day, these are all the things I’d include, on some days of course I’m not able to do all of them, but again even as little as few minutes can reap you fantastic results.

1 Remember and contemplate your dreams

Photo by Karyme Franu00e7a on Pexels.com

I knew that dreams are a great tool to access and analyse our subconscious, however only a few people cherish these habit and most rush into their phones even before opening their eyes. Your cell phone will set you straight into reactive mode, making you lose the magic of the relaxation state you carried from the night. You might even say that you don’t remember your dreams. If that’s the case here’s how I did to implement this habit. I followed Jim Kwik’s course on brain improvement. According to Jim, begin by setting the intention the night before. This is really powerful. Express the will of wanting to remember your dreams and your whys. The first few nights you might not notice any difference, over time though something should start shifting. When you wake up, keep your eyes closed and try to see if any images come up, if not be patient and try again the next day.

By fostering this habit you’ll notice how you’ll gradually remember more and more dreams and it’s spectacular how they can be insightful to resolve problems, have inspiration or understand an issue. You may even want to consider writing down your dreams on a journal with dates. It’ll be exciting to go back to your previous dreams and see if a pattern emerges.

2 Breathwork

Following rehydration, spending couple of minutes practicing deep breathing will change the chemistry of your body, shifting your vibration and clearing your mind to insight and clarity. I follow the Wim Hof method and techniques. It consists of 25/30 breath in and out after which you empty your lungs and go into retention till you feel the urge to breathe again. After that, you’ll inhale deeply and retain for further 15 seconds, lastly exhale and repeat the cycle for 3 or 4 times. Following my breathing practice my body feels astonishing, and tingling is signalling that tissues are very well oxygenated. That takes me to the next step:

3 Meditation

Photo by Elina Fairytale on Pexels.com

After the body and mind are fully relaxed I can work on the content of my mind. Letting go stagnant energy, visualize, focusing on goals, or simply enjoy the ecstatic feeling. If you do the breathing properly and get into deep meditative state you can expect to have experiences similar to psychedelics. I’ve experienced that first hand.

4 Movement

My favourite form of movement in the morning is yoga or some simple stretches to get all that oxygen flowing even more and removing stiffness from the night.

5 Cold shower

“A cold shower a day takes the doctor away”, says Wim. In fact this is your cardiovascular training. Begin with warm then last few seconds of your shower cold. You can increase cold exposure over time. If you’re curious about the Wim Hof method check this out:

6 Journaling

It’s not surprising that most successful people of the past and present have this habit in common. I always say that there’s something magical in the power of a pen and paper. As you write down your goals, gratitude journal, you are creating an invisible link between your soul and the universe that will eventually move you towards manifesting those. I normally write my goals short and long term with a date and also love to write the things I’m grateful for. Big or small.

7 Healthy breakfast/ Green juice Smoothie

Photo by Alexander Mils on Pexels.com

Starting the day with the right nutrients is the best thing you can do for optimal brain function, mood regulator, energy levels and overall health. A green juice or smoothie with added green powder, mushroom powder, ashwaganda or ginseng are all expectational ways to get those vital nutrients in.

8 Read for a few minutes

You might have heard that “Leaders are readers” or “The more you learn the more you earn”. I’ve heard that from the brain coach Jim Kwik. Expanding our knowledge is ultimately the tool to our personal development.

9 Healing nature

If you have the opportunity to spend time in nature you’re blessed. A short walk in nature, no matter how cold or warm it is. It’s healing, it grounds you, relaxes you, connect you deeply to your inner self and potential and it’s great for your health too!

10 Say how much you love yourself!

The last ritual is probably the fastest one nonetheless very powerful. Check the work of Louise Hay to understand the importance of mirror work and positive affirmations. Looking yourself into your eyes and say these words” I love you. I truly love you. I deeply and completely accept my self. I’m enough. “

The 10 rituals may take anything between 30 mins and one hour depending on how much time you spend for each task. If a day you have the chance to practice them all just give it a try and experience first hand how powerful they are. Don’t be demotivated if that sounds a lot to fit in your busy schedule. Begin with waking up 15 mins earlier every day until you make it a habit and try maybe even just one ritual or the ones that resonate more with you. Then you’ll be able to customize it and make your own routine that works best for you. It will always be there to serve you and pull you towards your visions and goals of a happy, successful life.

If you’re extremely busy in the morning, take a few seconds to breath as you wake up, be thankful for the blessing of your life, affirm that today is going to be an amazing day. You can do that in only a few seconds, nevertheless you’re changing the course of your day! As you become more conscious and experience shifts, you’ll be more encouraged to introduce even more rituals!

We have all the potential to be extraordinary if we take the time to develop the huge power within ourselves.

Make your smoothie with all your favorite fruits and include all types of red fruits (cherries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries). I like to add pomegranates to add extra antioxidants. Don’t forget a banana for smooth texture, mangos, pears, strawberries, and all that colorful goodness. You can also add Greek yogurt or vegan yogurt for an extra smooth consistency. If some of the fruits were frozen even better to have ticker consistency. I only prefer this option in the summer though, to make it more refreshing. I’ve tried it once in the winter and literally cooled my stomach. Pop everything into a blender and when all the ingredients are nicely mixed, pour the content into a bowl. Now my favorite part. Be the artist of your own breakfast! Decorate it your way. Add more pieces of fruits, shaved coconut, nuts, seeds, granola, goji berries and anything you’d love to see in your bowl.

Smoothie bowl for gourmand

The same process as above, this time my main ingredients are: bananas, cacao powder, and nuts butter. Paradise! Yes a calories blast, but sometimes that’s what we need especially when we have long, intense days or we work out a lot. For the decoration, it goes pretty much as with the previous bowl.

Optional ingredients: mushrooms powder, green powder, ashwagandha powder.

Preparing smoothie bowls is a breeze! Easy, quick and delicious. WIN-WIN
We often fall into the trap of routine and end up preparing the same foods for breakfast again and again. What do you often eat for breakfast? Next time before you prepare that porridge, toast or worse reach out for that pastry, try one of these incredibly tasty smoothie bowls and discover that eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring!

To a joyful, healthy life. Become extraordinary at every bite ♥
